TWICO is a Nonprofit -organization whose main objective is to enhance Communities’ socioeconomic status through engagement through resource mobilization to facilitate programmatic activities inter alia: Education, Health, governance, advocacy and on a need based intervention; Capacity development initiatives; participating in Annual Green Run; financing, mitigating, adapting and collaborating towards achieving green energy efficiency; environmental conservation; youth empowerment through education and, financial literacy programs.

The organization was founded after an annual General Meeting Held on 23rd November 2020 that felt the need to bridge the gaps in the above thematic areas that ensures every member is empowered to achieve. This was after a deliberate conversation informed by need to play a crucial role and participate effectively in socio-economic activities. We believe in the inherent dignity “Lifting each other up”. It is on the premise that, we are “Stronger Together” and “Together we can succeed”.
One of our major missions is to seek to play an important role in community development programs by assisting communities in developing both social and human resources, capital, and also human resource enhancing and skills and physical infrastructures. It also focuses on encouraging people in society to participate in activities and acting as a link between communities and systems.

The other crucial mission on which TWICO was founded is to help the community to work on economic growth without harm to mitigate poverty, lack of education, lack of affordable healthcare etc.

The goal of economic development will be to empower local communities and build sustainability so that they are not dependent on humanitarian aid and emergency relief.
